Thin Merino Wool Socks
These merino wool socks are inspired by a Viking bronze brooch found in Hiidenmäki, Jämsä.
The socks feel wonderfully soft without itching. Merino wool is a warm natural and antibacterial material that effectively transfers moisture. Merino wool socks keep your feet warm during the winter frosts, but are also excellent in summer, because of their moisture-transfer capacity for example when hiking. The socks are made in Finland.

Material: 80% merino wool (mulesing-free), 15% polyamide, 5% elastane
Washing: 40°C machine wash, do not tumble dry. To reduce the lint characteristic of wool, wash the socks inside out. Merino wool is antibacterial, so merino wool socks may not need to be washed daily. You can just air the socks and wear them the next day. Of course, after a sweaty sport, we recommend machine washing.
Only mulesing-free merino wool and only European yarns have been used in the socks. The materials meet the Oeko-Tex 100 standard, so the socks are safe to wear.
The socks are inspired by a bronze brooch found in Hiidenmäki, Central Finland. The buckle was made at the turn of the Merovingian and Viking Age (about 800 AD).
