Marjaana, the designer of Pihlaja socks, tells where she got her inspiration for the design:
“I recently got to know this nutritious berry more deeply, even though there are plenty of them here in Hiidenmäki. I was surprised at how many good nutrients this high-fiber berry contains, such as Vitamin C, Vitamin K, and Folate. For the first time, I tried to make rowanberry jam with an apple, and it had a nice perty taste! I think the rowanberry had to become a sock pattern! ”.
